5 Went for breakfast at the beach to Sea monkey in Puerto Vallarta on the board walk in zone Romantica. Blue sky, sand beach and an ocean breath. Great coffee and egg breakfast. Just another beautiful day. The Service was great. Little seahorse cookies were a nice touch. We kept on walking by this place for weeks now. But now we experienced it. Highly recommend.
5 The Sea Monkey to the rescue New Year’s Eve in Puerto Vallarta We were walking the Malecón , all the way to the pier, plotting the perfect spot for the drone show and fireworks . What we did not plan for was hunger. Serious hunger . Enter The Sea Monkey If you don’t know it, it’s the Malecón restaurant with the ever-changing palapa hat. And on one of the busiest nights of the year, minutes before midnight, they welcomed us like old friends. Past 11pm. No reservation. Front beach. Front row to fireworks. Same menu. Same prices. The manager even brought out an extra table so we could sit immediately . On New Year’s Eve. Legends. Huge hug to the entire staff Friendly, calm, great spirit, even while working that night. You could feel the good vibes . We ordered like people who skipped dinner . Breaded shrimp tacos to start , plus my always-favorite shrimp cocktail (so good). For mains, the Orangutang burger with mushrooms and onions , and shrimp fajitas that were an absolute killer . Add two margaritas , a limonata , and a joyful midnight . My 2026 heroes and the year just started Happy New Year, Sea Monkey We’ll be back!
4 Sea Monkey 2: This is a very nice restaurant on the malacon in PV. Outdoor seating facing the ocean. Terrific spot for watching the sunset. As the sun sets they loudly play Time To Say Goodbye by Sarah Brightman and Andrea Bocelli. Gives you chills. We ordered chicken fajitas which was terrific and a breaded shrimp dish with broccoli. The shrimp tasted good, a bit tough, and rather small. The broccoli was a bit too,salty for us but really fresh and overall good taste. Enjoyable atmosphere. They also have beach service but we preferred the covered patio.
5 Great prices, great food! Ask for the drink specials! Right on the beach. Great spot to grab a table during the day and enjoy the view. The shrimp avocado salad was AMAZING! Chicken wings were very good!
5 I've had a breakfast and two lunches here. Excellent food including the presentation. Sitting on the beach with my feet in the sand eating a delicious meal. Wow! Can't get much better than that!
5 Excellent meal. Started with the jalapeño poppers, delicious and large and then ordered the breaded corvina (white sea bass) also delicious. Service was perfect. Everyone remains available to help.

5 What an Excellent beach front place to stop for lunch and beer! Friendly staff. Choice of on the sand dining area or open air building. Ordered a burger and fries and a chicken quesadilla. All came promptly and we're delicious. Huge portion size. We will return!
